In a tight match at No. 2 doubles, Connor Glennon and Cedric De Zutter knocked off No. 81 Oliver Pramming and Ignacio Gonzalez-Muniz by an 8-5 score to put the Tigers up 1-0.

No. 43 Roberto Cid improved to 3-0 in singles play in the championship, topping No. 62 Connor Glennon 6-1, 6-4. The Bulls tallied again at No. 6, as Federico Sabogal recorded a 6-3, 6-4 victory over David O’Hare.
USF then pulled ahead 3-1 with a win at No. 3 singles, as Sasha Gozun finished off Johnny Grimal for a 7-6, 7-6 win. Memphis then answered with two singles victories to pull the match to 3-3. USF’s Roberto Cid went 3-0 in singles and 1-0 in doubles over the Championship, and was named the Tournament’s Most Outstanding Player. With the victory, USF earns the conference’s automatic bid to the 2014 NCAA Men’s Tennis Tournament.
