East Carolina 76, Houston 70
Jada Payne, I’Tiana Taylor and DeVaughn Gray combined for 63 of East Carolina’s points in a 76-70 win against Houston at Williams Arena on Thursday evening. Payne produced her 10th double-double of the season with a game-high 24 points and 10 rebounds. Taylor finished with 21 points and a game-high 16 rebounds, and Gray scored 18 points with four 3-pointers in the win. Chyanne Butler led the Cougars in scoring with 12 points while Jacqueline Blake posted 11 points and nine rebounds.
