PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly football honors for Week 7 of the college football season.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
McKenzie Milton • So. • QB • UCF • Kapolei, Hawaii
Milton led a UCF offense that gained 603 yards and had 33 first downs in a 63-21 win against ECU, helping the Knights to their first 5-0 start as a Division I program. Milton completed 21 of 27 passes (77.8 percent) for 324 yards and touchdowns of 48 and 4 yards while adding a rushing touchdown before coming out of the game midway through the third quarter. Milton is ranked second nationally in passing efficiency (203.6) this season.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Austin Hall • Sr. • DB/LB • Memphis • Collierville, Tenn.
Hall had a hand in three turnovers to lead a Memphis defense that had five takeaways in a 30-27 win against Navy. Hall had two interceptions and a fumble recovery to go with 10 tackles and a pass breakup as Memphis held Navy’s best-in-the-nation rushing offense to 100 yards below its season average. Hall leads Memphis with 44 tackles and three interceptions this season.
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Mike Hughes • Jr. • CB • UCF • New Bern, N.C.
Hughes finished with 118 yards on three punt returns, averaging 39.3 yards per attempt, with a 66-yard touchdown, in UCF’s 63-21 win against ECU.
Emilio Nadelman • Sr. • K • USF • Miami, Fla.
Nadelman scored 15 points, hitting field goals of 39, 28, 21 and 24 yards and going 3-for-3 on PATs to help USF to a 33-3 win against Cincinnati. Nadelman extended his streak to 13 consecutive made field goals.

Rushed for 140 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries in a 45-17 win against Houston.
McKinley Whitfield • Jr. • S • Tulsa • Spiro, Okla.
Had 10 tackles, three pass breakups and a 51-yard interception return in a 45-17 win against Houston.
