UConn has won seven of its last eight games and continues to climb up the American Athletic Conference standings. The Huskies travel to Hofheinz Pavilion for a meeting with Houston, with the winner gaining sole possession of third place in The American.
Senior center Amida Brimah is all too familiar with UConn getting hot down the stretch run of the season. During his first three years he has been a part of the 2013-14 squad that went on to claim the national title as the No. 7 seed and last year's American Athletic Conference Championship team that won as the No. 5 seed. This season the Huskies appear to be clicking at the right time (again), but face a tough task tonight in Houston.
The game is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET/ 8 p.m. CT and can be watched on CBS Sports Network.
